The BEST places to dine in Cayman

Yes Cayman is a small island, but don't go to these loctions looking like a freakin' tourist and show up wearing Bermuda shorts and Birkenstocks, or a T-Shirt and surfer pants.  Put on some proper clothes and look like you were raised in a decent home.

Neptunes -Best for appetizers, delicious free bread with an olive oil and balsamic accompaniment, and bruschetta.   Generous seafood, and a great T-bone steak.

Papagallos - Take your cameras, a one of a kind, upscale restaurant.   Presentation of food is top notch and they make substitutions.  Lovely homemade pasta,  and seafood. Their T-bone steak is not as good as it should be.

Deckers - Tuesdays all you can eat lobster is expensive, and you may or may not like the taste of caribbean lobster.  Their T-bone steak is top notch, melt in your mouth taste.

Singh's Roti shop sucks big time for their rotis. Not enough curry sauce, not enough flavor, too much potatoes, not enough meat/shrimp. And the pile of crap costs $6.00 or more! This place is a disgrace in terms of rotis. They need some competition from a smaller Trini shop that can do it right.

Brunch on Sundays at the Westin are fabulous. Dine outside under some lovely shade by the beach. All you can eat seafood, breakfast items, and dinner items. Excellent range and selection of foods, well prepared, and some made to order. Mimosas are unlimited. Expensive at $50.00/person, but worth it!

Calypso Grill's food is so delicious that we went there 3 times in a row to dine! The ambience inside the restaurant is lovely, and dining by the water is great too. The third night was marred when the server dropped the water bottle cap on the floor, picked it up and put it back on the water we had bought! I had to explain to her that what she did was unacceptable, but she didn't seem to understand since she saw the cap had landed upright! Stupid or what? Good thing we didn't have to rely on her bringing our food.
